This activity will demonstrate how scientists’ study and monitor the health of soils using robotics and laser spectroscopy. This will be a hands-on demonstration to showcase the public how to detect soil pollutants that remain hidden to the naked eye. The activity will also aim enlighten the publics about fundamental soil processes like bioturbations and pedogenesis, emphasizing their profound impact on human health and climate regulation.
