Ask questions, test your ideas and discover just how much fun science can be. An engaging activity for curious young researchers!
13:00–13:45 – Crack the code and identify the bad cells!
Guided by Anouk, a PhD researcher specialising in cancer immunology, children will discover how scientists investigate which white blood cells are present inside a tumour. Using an interactive single-cell puzzle, they will crack a DNA code themselves and try to identify the right cells. It’s a playful introduction to cancer research and bioinformatics.
